Thanks to my good friend Darkchild, I love to play the game Puzzle and Dragons (PAD) on my cellphone.  If you love games such as Candy Crush and you enjoy raiding type  games then I think that you may enjoy PAD.  I have spent many hours playing PAD.

What I like:

• I like the versatility of teams.  There is no definitive way in which you have to set up your team.  You are free to try to master various dungeons based on your own play style and the monsters that you have.
• While magic stones and extra stamina  can be purchased, you can completely master this game without spending a penny.
• Gungho does a great job with providing free magic stones and free pal points so that you may get the opportunity to get stronger monsters without having to spend money.
• The game requires thought and sometimes strategy.  The community is friendly and helpful.

What I dislike:

• It takes 10 mins to get 1 point of staminia so you will want to use your stamina wisely.
• There is a limited number of friends and bag slots.  Of course you can use magic stones to increase each, but I like to use my stones on trying to get rare monsters from the rare egg machine.
• Crappy farmable monsters in the rare egg machine.  If it is farmable, I don’t think that it should be in the machine!
• The game can become a bit grindy, okay it is mostly a  grinding game.

My tips for  Puzzle and dragons.

• DO NOT use your magic stones unless you have to!  Needing more box space is a reasonable time to use a stone.  Save the stones for a GODFEST.  There will be scrolling text alerting you to when a  GODFEST will occur.  A Godfest is when the rare egg machine  has a increased chance of dropping  a rare monster.
• It is a very good idea to save your pal points until it is announced that the pal machine will have increased chances of RARE EVO MATERIALS.  Those are the items needed  to evolve your monsters.  You may also want to use the pal egg machine when the machine  has a increased chance of dropping metal dragons.  These metal dragons are used to help level your character
• Tamadra are valuable.  Do not use these as fodder (food that you feed to other monsters to level them).  Save them to awaken skills. NOT all monsters have skills to awaken.  You will know if a monster has skills to awaken because you will see little grayed out boxes.

• Whenever possible you will want to add friends.  Adding a friend will allow you to  take that friends monster into the dungeon with you.
• Be very sure that you write down your secret code and screen name and any other important information.  If you lose the data for this game you will be out of luck!!!  Backing up your phone can help or you may also want to take advantage of the data migration tool available in the game .
