When Starting out I had a very hard time getting used to the controls. Once I was able to control Batman, more particularly the Batmobile, I found this game very enjoyable.
The graphics are good.
The combat system is excellent.
The story is entertaining.
There have been some problems reported with the PC version of this game. The problems include frame rate and bad audio on the PC version of this game Buying a season pass to get additional content for this game on release day seems to have been a complete waste of money!
It is really easy to get sucked into doing things in SL and other games. Sometimes I did so ignoring how I was feeling. Yes, stupid I know. At the end of the day you learn that it isn’t worth it. If you are not having fun, you shouldn’t be doing something. Save your time and talent for people who actually love and care about you. Just because you are nice does not mean that your kindness will be returned.
If you haven’t already done so, you really need to visit CW Seed to watch Vixen. It is a little annoying that each episode is only about 6 minute. I would suggest that you binge watch the episodes in one sitting, it would only take you about 30 minutes! While short, it really is a great series. Vixen takes place in CW’s the Flash and Arrow universe, allowing for the characters to transverse between animated and live action adventures. Due to the short length of the episodes, the story is fast paced and loaded with action. Our adventure starts out with heroine Mari McCabe in a mad dash, using her powers to escape from The Arrow and the Flash. I honestly felt like there is no way she could possibly run away from the Flash, but perhaps he was still slow from when Dr. Wells from earth 2 had stolen some of his speed. That is only my speculation, this is the only thing that I could think of to explain this slow Flash phenomenon. The story then flashbacks a few days earlier explaining McCabe’s return to Detroit and why she is arrested. We are also given a tiny glimpse into her family’s backstory. I feel like the creators did a decent job with introducing us to the character and her personality. One day Mari then unknowingly uses the powers of her totem necklace to defend herself against trackers. She then recalls the history of how she received the totem and seeks further knowledge about the totem. In just under a half a hour we have Mari as Vixen. Back to present time, the story continues with The Arrow and The Flash chasing Vixen. Eventually the chase ends with our 2 heroes talking to Mari about STAR Labs, and how they could help her. The story is filled with mystery and adventure. I would love for the creators to have created longer episodes. Being that Vixen’s story arc is based around the supernatural, animation could help with providing a perfect platform for lots of adventures. It would have also been fun to see her train a little more. Vixen is a woman of color in the comic book world wherein there are very few heroes and heroines of color. I do enjoy the fact that her being a female and black isn’t something that is constantly focused on by the writers. In early episodes of Supergirl it felt like the writers had to constantly remind me that she is a female.
The most exciting thing about Vixen is when she made her live debut on the show, The Arrow. Vixen played by and voiced by the wonderful Megalyn Echikunwoke, is key to helping Oliver save his kidnapped son and defeat Damien Darhk. It is Vixen who stole Darhk’s totem, and destroy it , allowing the Arrow team to defeat him with ease.
I really hope that vixen will become a regular live action program or at least every episode of the animated series could be 20 minutes. The story arc of Vixen is interesting, her character has always been a part of the Justice League; however, I am interested in her as more than just the girl that Green Lantern dated before having a kid with Hawkgirl.
